Nightkit – CPAP Supply Tracker · iOS 17+
CPAP supply tracker: know which part is due, and when
Nightkit is an iPhone app for CPAP and BiPAP users that counts down the days until each mask cushion, filter, tube and water chamber needs replacing, using the Medicare replacement schedule as the default.

Why CPAP supplies are so easy to lose track of
- You know the cushion is supposed to be replaced regularly, but you cannot remember if you put the current one on three weeks ago or two months ago.
- Insurance pays only on its schedule. Order a few days too early and the claim is denied; forget for a month and you sleep on a leaking cushion.
- There are up to eight parts on different clocks: two weeks, one month, three months, six months. Nobody keeps that in their head.
- Cleaning slips too. The daily wipe and the weekly tubing wash are the first things to go on a busy week.
How Nightkit keeps your CPAP kit on schedule
One number on open
The home screen answers one question: which part is due next and in how many days. A list below shows every tracked part with its due date and a bar for the time left.
Medicare schedule built in
Pick your mask type (nasal pillows, nasal or full face) and intervals are set from the Medicare schedule: cushion every 2 weeks or monthly, filter every 2 weeks, tubing every 3 months. Any interval can be changed to match your provider's advice.
Replaced in one tap
Tap "Replaced today" when a fresh part goes on and the countdown restarts. You get a heads-up a few days before, a reminder on the day and a nudge if you are late.
Reorder dates and spares
In Pro, Nightkit shows the date your insurance should cover the next part and how many spares you have on the shelf, so you order before you run out.
Cleaning schedule
In Pro: daily mask wipe, weekly mask wash, tubing and water-chamber washes and filter rinse, each with reminders and a history of every swap and wash.
Private by design
No account and no cloud: your data stays on your iPhone. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets with days left are part of Pro.
Pricing
Nightkit is free to download. The free version tracks the three parts that wear out fastest (mask cushion or pillows, disposable filter and tubing) with reminders and shows your five most recent history entries. Nightkit Pro costs $0.99 per month or $4.99 once for lifetime access and unlocks all eight parts (adding mask frame, headgear, reusable filter, water chamber and chin strap), the cleaning schedule, spares and insurance reorder dates, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets and the full history.

How often should CPAP supplies be replaced?
Under the Medicare schedule, nasal cushions or pillows and disposable filters are covered twice a month, full-face cushions monthly, the mask frame and tubing every 3 months, and headgear, chin strap, reusable filter and water chamber every 6 months. Manufacturers sometimes allow longer intervals, so treat these as the earliest point to check and reorder, and replace any part early if it is torn, stretched or discolored.
Does Medicare pay for CPAP supplies?
Yes. Medicare Part B covers CPAP supplies as durable medical equipment, paying 80% of the approved amount after the deductible while you pay 20%, as long as you order within the replacement schedule. Requests made before the covered interval is over are usually denied.
Which parts does Nightkit track?
Up to eight: mask cushion or pillows, disposable filter, tubing, mask frame, headgear, reusable filter, humidifier water chamber and chin strap. The first three are free; the rest are part of Pro.
Can I change the replacement intervals?
Yes. Nightkit starts from the Medicare schedule for your mask type, but every interval can be adjusted to match your provider's, your plan's or your doctor's advice.
Does Nightkit order supplies for me or connect to my CPAP machine?
No. Nightkit does not place orders and does not read data from your machine. It keeps the dates, reminds you, and in Pro shows the day your insurance should cover the next part so you can order from your own supplier.
Do I need an account? Where is my data stored?
There is no account and no cloud sync. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.
Does it work for BiPAP and APAP users?
Yes. Masks, cushions, filters, tubing and water chambers wear out the same way whatever the machine, so the same tracking applies. Adjust intervals if your equipment supplier recommends something different.
Is Nightkit medical advice?
No. Nightkit is a reminder tool. Always follow the instructions of your sleep specialist and your equipment provider.
