Frequently asked questions
How does Nightkit count days?
From the date you last replaced a part, using its interval. Intervals are preset from the Medicare replacement schedule for your mask type: cushions every 2 weeks for nasal pillows and nasal masks, monthly for a full-face mask; disposable filters every 2 weeks; tubing and frame every 3 months; headgear, reusable filter, water chamber and chin strap every 6 months. The free version tracks the cushion, disposable filter and tubing; the other parts come with Nightkit Pro.
How do I change an interval?
Tap the part on the Home screen. Pick a preset (7, 14, 30, 90, 180 or 365 days) or use the stepper under “Custom”. The due date updates instantly.
I replaced a part but forgot to tap.
Open the part and change the “Last replaced” date — the countdown adjusts.
What is the insurance reorder date?
Most insurers (Medicare included) pay for a replacement only once per interval. With Nightkit Pro, each part shows the first day a new one is covered again — the same day the current one is due. If your plan works differently, switch it off in Settings → “Show insurance reorder dates”.
Reminders don't arrive.
Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Nightkit and make sure alerts are allowed. Inside Nightkit, open Settings and confirm “Notifications” is on. Replacement reminders come at 9:00: a heads-up before the due date (3 days by default, adjustable from 1 to 14 in Settings → Reminders), one on the due day and one three days after. With Pro you also get cleaning reminders at 10:00 for weekly tasks.
How do I add the widget?
Home Screen: long-press an empty spot → “+” → Nightkit. Lock Screen: long-press the Lock Screen → Customize → tap the widget area → Nightkit. Widgets are part of Nightkit Pro.
How do I restore Nightkit Pro on a new phone?
Open Settings in Nightkit and tap “Restore purchases” while signed in with the same Apple account.
How do I cancel the monthly plan?
iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Nightkit Pro → Cancel. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and never renews.
Is this medical advice?
No. Nightkit is a reminder. Always follow your sleep specialist's and equipment provider's instructions.
