Wink – Contact Lens Tracker · iOS 17+
Contact lens tracker that shows how many days your lenses have left
Wink counts down to your next lens change, whether you wear dailies, two-week or monthly contacts, and reminds you on time. No account, no ads, your data stays on your iPhone.

Why it is so easy to lose track of your lenses
- You opened a fresh pair of monthlies "sometime around the 10th". Three weeks later you honestly cannot tell whether they have 5 days left or are already overdue.
- Two-week lenses feel fine on day 20, so you keep wearing them. In a CDC survey, half of contact lens wearers admitted stretching their replacement schedule.
- Your left lens tore and you replaced just that one. Now the eyes are on different dates and a single calendar reminder no longer fits.
- Nobody remembers when the lens case was last changed. It is the most common slip of all: 82% of wearers in the same CDC survey kept their case too long.
How Wink keeps the dates for you
One number on the home screen
Open the app and see how many days your lenses have left. Pick any schedule: daily, weekly, two-week, monthly, quarterly, six-month, yearly or a custom number of days.
One tap when you open a new pair
Tap "Replaced today" and the countdown restarts. You can also set the date you opened them if you forgot to tap on the day.
Reminders before, on the day and after
A heads-up a few days before, a reminder on the day and a nudge if you are late. Your recent swaps are kept in a history log.
Left and right eye separately (Pro)
Each eye gets its own schedule and countdown, useful when prescriptions differ or you replaced only one lens.
Solution, case and box count (Pro)
Track when you opened the solution and started a new case, and how many lenses are left in the box so you reorder in time.
Wear timer and widgets (Pro)
See hours worn today against your daily limit, and check days left from Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.
Free and Pro
Free: the home screen countdown for both eyes, any replacement schedule, the opening date, "Replaced today", reminders before, on and after the due date, the last 5 swaps in history and an accent color matched to your eyes. Wink Pro costs $0.99 per month or $4.99 once for lifetime access and adds separate left and right eyes, the wear timer with a daily limit, solution and lens case tracking, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, box count and the full history. No ads, no account.

Is there an app to remind me when to change my contact lenses?
Yes. Wink is an iPhone app that counts down to your next lens change and sends a reminder a few days before, on the due day and if you are late. Reminders are included in the free version.
Does Wink work for daily, two-week and monthly contacts?
Yes. You can choose daily, weekly, two-week, monthly, quarterly, six-month or yearly lenses, or enter a custom number of days if your lenses use a different schedule.
Can I track my left and right lens separately?
Yes, with Wink Pro. Each eye gets its own schedule and countdown, which helps when your prescriptions differ or you replaced only one lens.
Do monthly contacts last 30 days from opening or 30 days of wear?
For most soft monthly lenses the 30 days are counted from the day you open the blister, not from the number of days you wore them. Always check the instructions for your specific lenses and your eye doctor's advice.
How often should I replace my contact lens case?
The FDA and CDC recommend replacing it at least every 3 months, or sooner if it cracks or your eye doctor advises it. Wink Pro can track the case and remind you when it is due.
Does Wink need an account or store my data in the cloud?
No. Wink works without an account and without ads, and your data stays on your iPhone.
How much does Wink Pro cost?
Wink Pro is $0.99 per month or $4.99 as a one-time purchase for lifetime access. The replacement countdown and reminders are free.
Is Wink a medical app?
No. Wink is a reminder tool, not medical advice. Always follow the instructions of your eye care professional and the manufacturer of your lenses.

Contact lens replacement schedule: how often to change each type
Replace daily lenses after one wear, two-week lenses after 14 days and monthly lenses after 30 days, counted from the day you open the pack, not from the number of days worn. Your eye doctor's prescription and the lens instructions always come first.
Read →How many hours a day can you wear contact lenses?
Most people can wear soft contact lenses for about 8 to 16 hours a day, and many eye doctors suggest aiming for 10 to 12. Your personal limit is the one your eye care professional sets, and daily wear lenses should not be slept in.
Read →How often should you replace your contact lens case?
Replace your contact lens case at least every 3 months, or right away if it cracks or gets damaged. That is the recommendation from the FDA, CDC and American Academy of Ophthalmology, and many eye doctors suggest doing it with every new bottle of solution.
