Frequently asked questions
How does Wink count days?
From the day you opened the lenses, using the schedule printed on your box: weekly, two-week, monthly, quarterly, six-month, yearly or a custom number of days. Tap “Replaced today” when you open a fresh pair (“Both replaced today” when you track each eye separately). Daily lenses have no countdown — you simply open a new pair every morning, so Wink doesn't send replacement reminders for them.
I replaced my lenses but forgot to tap.
Tap an eye and change the “Opened on” date — the countdown adjusts instantly.
Can I track the left and right lens separately?
Yes, with Wink Pro: Settings → “Track left and right separately”. Each eye then gets its own schedule, date and reminders.
Reminders don't arrive.
Check Settings → Notifications → Wink on your iPhone and make sure notifications are allowed. Inside Wink, open Settings and confirm “Remind me” is on. Reminders come at the time you pick (9:00 by default): a heads-up before the due date (2 days by default, 0–7 is adjustable), one on the due day and one on each of the three days after. Solution and case reminders are part of Wink Pro.
How do I add the widget?
Home Screen: long-press an empty spot → “+” → Wink. Lock Screen: long-press the Lock Screen → Customize → tap the widget area → Wink. Widgets are part of Wink Pro.
How do I restore Wink Pro on a new phone?
Open Settings in Wink and tap “Restore purchases” while signed in with the same Apple account.
How do I cancel the monthly plan?
iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Wink Pro → Cancel. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and never renews.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app — everything Wink stored lives only on your iPhone and goes with it.
Is this medical advice?
No. Wink is a reminder. Always follow your eye care professional's instructions.
