SinTracker Support
SinTracker is a humorous tracker of the seven deadly sins. Below are the answers to the questions that come up most often.
Frequently asked questions
How do I log a sin?
Tap a day on the calendar, pick one or more sins, and confirm. Marks appear on the day; the app answers with a comment.
What does repenting do?
A sin you repent weighs half as much when your level is calculated. Repentance becomes available the day after the sin was logged. An indulgence, which removes a sin outright, is available once a month.
How is my level calculated?
From the sins of the last 30 days, with repented ones counted at half. Thirteen levels; each maps to a circle on the road down. Stop sinning and the level climbs back on its own.
My Apple Watch shows nothing
The watch does not count anything itself — it shows what the iPhone sends. Open SinTracker on the iPhone with the watch nearby, and the state will sync.
Can I delete a confession?
Yes. Swipe the entry in the feed, or open the menu on it and choose delete. Only your own entries can be deleted.
Something in the feed is offensive
Report it from the menu on the entry, or block its author there — you will no longer see their confessions, and they cannot add you to duels. Reported entries are hidden once several different devices flag them, and every report is reviewed by the developer within 24 hours.
How do duels work?
On the Duels tab you have a six-character code. Give it to a friend, or enter theirs — you will then see each other's weekly sin count and level. Swipe a friend to remove or block them.
I want my data deleted
Deleting the app clears the device. For the server side, write to [email protected] with the friend code shown on the Duels tab. The details are in the privacy policy.
