SinTracker Privacy Policy
In short: SinTracker needs no account; your sin log stays on the device, and only an anonymous summary, a nickname and confessions you choose to publish reach the developer's server.

About this policy
SinTracker is a humorous tracker. It works without registration: there is no account, no email and no password. This page explains exactly what the app stores and what leaves your device. The app is developed by Artem Kolchin.
What stays on your device
- Every sin you log: the date, which of the seven it was, and whether you repented.
- Your vows, achievements, streaks and monthly recaps.
- The chosen language and reminder settings.
This data lives in the app's storage on the device and in the shared container used by the widgets and the Apple Watch app. It is not uploaded anywhere and it is deleted together with the app.
What is sent to our server
The app talks to a single server run by the developer, at sin.92-5-117-130.sslip.io. It receives:
- An anonymous device record. On first launch the server issues a random identifier, an access token and a six-character friend code. They are not tied to your Apple ID, your phone number or any advertising identifier.
- A summary of your sinning. How many sins in the last 7 and 30 days, your sinner level and circle, and which sin leads the week. This is what duels compare. It contains no dates and no individual entries.
- A nickname — only if you enter one for duels.
- Confessions you publish yourself, together with the sin you tagged and the language. Anything you never publish never leaves the device.
- Your "me too" marks, reports, blocks and friend links — the mechanics of the confessional and duels.
The app also requests the phrase of the day from the same server, passing only the interface language.
What we never collect
- Name, email address, phone number, contacts or calendar.
- Location, photos, microphone or health data.
- Advertising identifiers. There is no advertising, no analytics SDK and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Who can see it
Published confessions are visible to everyone in the app's feed, without a name attached. Your summary is visible only to people you added as friends by code. Nothing is sold, shared or handed to advertisers. Data is disclosed only if the law requires it.
Moderation
Before the confessional and duels open, you accept the community rules: there is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Published text and nicknames pass an automatic filter for profanity, slurs and links. Any confession can be reported from the feed; reported entries are hidden once several different devices flag them. You can also block an author or a friend: their confessions are no longer shown to you, and they cannot add you to duels.
Every report is delivered to the developer, who reviews it within 24 hours; the notification contains the reported text and the anonymous identifier of the device that posted it. Objectionable content is removed and that device is banned from the confessional and duels. You can delete your own confession at any time.
Permissions
- Notifications — only for the reminders you set up. They are scheduled locally on the device; the server does not send push notifications.
- Apple Watch — the iPhone sends the current state to the paired watch directly, without our server.
The app does not ask for access to the microphone, camera, photos, contacts or location.
Purchases
SinTracker has no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
How long it is kept
The device record and published confessions are kept until you ask for them to be deleted. The token is stored only as a hash.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. To have the server-side record removed — the device entry, your summary, your confessions and friend links — write to [email protected] with the device's friend code, which you can find on the Duels tab. Requests are handled within 30 days.
SinTracker is a joke about self-improvement. The levels, verdicts and comments are humor, not advice or a judgment of any kind.
Children
The app is not intended for children. The confessional carries text written by other people, and while it is filtered and moderated, it is not suitable for a young audience.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date.
