In short: PoolDose does not collect your data.

What PoolDose stores
Everything you enter — your pools and hot tubs, their volume, surface and chemicals, your test readings and doses, units and reminder settings — is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage shared with its widget (an App Group).
What goes over the network
Nothing you enter leaves your device. PoolDose has no server and no user accounts, so we never see your data.
- No analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no tracking.
- The only network requests are made by Apple's StoreKit to show prices, process purchases and restore them.
- Links in Settings (privacy policy, support, terms of use) simply open in your browser.
Purchases
PoolDose Pro is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system as a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we receive no payment details and no personal information. Apple's handling of this data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Permissions
Notifications are the only permission PoolDose asks for. PoolDose uses them to remind you on test days and, with Pro, to re-test the morning after you add chemicals. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device; nothing is sent to us or to any third party. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings.
PoolDose Pro includes Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets that show your water status and next test day. The widget reads the same on-device data through a shared App Group container; it makes no network requests.
PoolDose does not access your contacts, photos, location, camera, microphone or Health data.
Deleting your data
Use “Reset all data” in Settings, or delete the app — both remove all PoolDose data from your device.
Children
PoolDose is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them — or from anyone else.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.
