In short: Siphon does not collect your data.

What Siphon stores
Everything you enter — tank names, types and volumes, water-change schedules and dates, care tasks, water test results, history and reminder settings — is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage shared with its widget (an App Group).
What goes over the network
Nothing you enter leaves your device. Siphon has no server and no user accounts, so we never see your data.
- No analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no tracking.
- The only network requests are made by Apple's StoreKit to show prices, process purchases and restore them.
- Links in Settings (privacy policy, support, terms of use) simply open in your browser.
Purchases
Siphon Pro is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system as a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we receive no payment details and no personal information. Apple's handling of this data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Permissions
Notifications are the only permission Siphon asks for. Siphon uses them to remind you when a tank is due for a water change and, with Pro, about care tasks such as rinsing the filter. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device; nothing is sent to us or to any third party. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings.
Siphon Pro includes Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets that show the days since your last water change. The widget reads the same on-device data through a shared App Group container; it makes no network requests.
Siphon does not access your contacts, photos, location, camera, microphone or Health data.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual tanks, log entries and test results inside Siphon. Deleting the app removes all its data from your device.
Children
Siphon is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them — or from anyone else.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.
