Lamina – Large Print Sheets
Lamina Privacy Policy
In short: Lamina does not collect your data: everything stays on your device.

What Lamina stores
Everything you enter is stored only on your device, in a file inside the app's own private storage (its Documents folder). This includes:
- parent profiles: the name you use, a photo, sheet language, text size, paper size and reminder period;
- the sheets: names, labels, phone numbers and photos in the phone book; the details on the emergency sheet (such as name, date of birth, blood type, address, allergies, medicines, notes, doctor, insurance and who to call); the medication chart; the video call steps; and your own sheets;
- for each sheet, the date it was last printed or exported and a copy of the names and numbers as they were at that moment, so Lamina can tell you when they change.
Some of this is health information about your parent. It never leaves the device unless you share a sheet yourself.
What goes over the network
Nothing you enter leaves your device. Lamina has no server and no user accounts, so we never see your data.
- No analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no tracking.
- The only network requests are made by Apple's StoreKit to show the price, process the purchase and restore it.
- Links in Settings (support, privacy policy, the app's web page) and the terms of use on the purchase screen simply open in your browser. "Rate Lamina" shows Apple's standard rating prompt.
When you tap PDF or Picture, the system share sheet opens and you decide where the file goes: AirPrint, Files, Mail, Messages, Photos or another app. Printing with Print goes straight to your printer over AirPrint. What happens to a file after you send it is governed by the app or service you chose.
Purchases
Lamina Pro is a one-time in-app purchase through Apple. There is no subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we receive no payment details and no personal information. Apple's handling of this data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Permissions
Lamina asks for each permission only when you use the feature that needs it. Everything it reads is used on the device and is never uploaded.
- Contacts (read only): to put the names, photos and numbers of the people you choose on the phone book, and to compare them later with what was printed so Lamina can tell you that a number has changed. If you do not grant full access, you can still pick contacts one by one with the system picker; change detection is then not available. Lamina never edits your contacts.
- Photos: to add a photo of a person to a sheet, through the system photo picker. Only the photo you pick is used; a reduced copy is stored with the sheet.
- Health (read only): on iOS 26 and later, to import the medication list from the Medications section of Apple Health into the medication chart. Lamina reads medications only, does not write anything to Health, and works fully without this permission.
- Notifications: for a local reminder every 3, 6 or 12 months to check the sheets. Reminders are scheduled on the device; nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn them off in iOS Settings.
Lamina does not use your location, camera, microphone or any other data.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes all its data from your device. You can also remove a single parent's profile with all its sheets inside the app (Edit person & paper → Remove this person, available when you have more than one profile), or delete a single sheet. Files you have already shared or printed are not affected.
Children
Lamina is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them, or from anyone else.
Not medical advice
Lamina helps you prepare paper sheets. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Always follow the instructions of your parent's doctor and pharmacist.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.
